Description
The estate is located in the municipality of Valvasone (Pordenone) in the DOC region Friuli Grave in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia . Until 1997 it was a pure grape producer, only began with the production of wine. From the 2004 vintage was produced under the present name. The operation is of Luisa Menini (Weinberg and distribution) and led her husband Nicola Pittini as responsible oenologist. The vineyards consist of seven hectares, with the red varieties Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Pinot Noir, are Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as the white varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Malvasia Istriana, Friulano Verduzzo Friulano and Traminer Aromatico (Gewürztraminer) planted. The product range includes different wines, marketed under the name Venezia Giulia IGT.
